  • Register a domain name and point it to our servers. We highly recommend godaddy.com. They have very fast turnaround times at the lowest registration price anywhere.
  • Website look & feel - surf the web for ideas on color, navigation, graphics styles, content presentation, features, etc. Print the ones you like the best. They don't all have to be from the same site. We are not interested in duplicating another site, but they can provide visual clues to what your intended website should look like.
  • Bring along some of your products with you if you can or a brochure. Often times, a great looking brochure can form the basis of your website's graphics design.
  • Are you going to sell your products online? If so, determine how much content is needed and the number of images required to fully display your product(s).
  • Tell us who your online competitors are - we will research their websites to determine their functionality and presentation so that we have a better understanding of your products' market segment.
  • Web advertising - do you have a budget for Search engine optimization (SEO) or Pay-per-click advertising? If not, click here for more information on pay-per-click costs and keywords for your product..

2. Design Concept + Flash (optional)

You get a high resolution design concept for only $900, complete with links and a stunning GUI (includes ONE modification) and the original static full page graphic design. Included are:

  • Reusable Web page template with separate header (including navigational links), footer files.
  • Completed "Home" page.
  • Completed inside (content) pages such as "About", "Terms", "Help", "Contact", etc. upto a maximum of 6 pages.
  • Though e-commerce functionality is not included, it can be added to the site without having to revamp the site. All designs are built with future e-commerce capability in mind, eliminating the need to rewrite code or update graphics to accomodate the additional links.
  • Flash animation is extra at $80/hour.
  • No e-commerce functionality, database or dynamic pages included.

3. E-commerce

Now that we have created the site, the next step is to add e-commerce functionality. There are certain fixed costs and monthly dues that are a part of this framework:

  • PayFlow Pro (Verisign) - $249.00
  • Merchant e-solutions - $49.00 / month
  • Setup - $75.00
  • Hosting - starts at $50.00 / month (new customers get first 3 months at $19.95/month)
  • Use our e-commerce platform - $1.00 / year
  • Once we have installed the SSL certificate, PayFlow Pro and assigned your bank account to the internet merchant account we have completed the physical requirements of an e-commerce site.

The next step is to identify the categories, groups and products that make up your business. This is the point at which many future "e-tailers" find out that other much vaunted e-commerce solutions requires them to tailor their business to conform to an unforgiving platform.

We do the exact opposite, by configuring our platform to conform to the way you need to have your products displayed by adding additional fields and functionality as required to maintain your business model.

We will also show you how to enter your own data into the database, reducing the expense incurred when taking on an e-commerce project.
